Ship Recycling Process
1. Pre-arrival Elements

Review of ship specific documentation.

Comprehensive inspection of ship and subsequent clearance.
3. Ship Arrival

Preparation of Ship recycling facility for arrival of ship.

Ship is to be docked in a protected area with oil fences.

Walk-through (on-board inspection) of vessel with site personnel to identify the amount and zones of potential hazardous material, along with all access & egress.
5. Dismantling Sequence

Dismantling the ship in accordance to the SRP taking into account ship-specific cutting operations, processes and procedures.
2. Ship arrival preparation

Consultations with the ship-owner to determine appropriate method for the safe and environmentally sound recycling of the ship.

Preparation and approval of Ship Recycling Plan.
4. Management of Hazardous Material

Safe removal and disposal of all hazardous material.

Material Management.
6. Post processing & Project Closure

Resources and materials are sorted, cleaned and brought back into the economy.

Waste substances are disposed and taken care of accordingly.

Ship recycling facility is cleaned.

Ship documentation and reporting to be submitted to relevant authorities.
